Episode 184, Misc News and Liberty Ridge Update part 3

This episode is the third and final update on our experiences and lessons learned here at Liberty Ridge, three years since moving in.

In this episode, I cover:
  • Living with a wood stove
  • Food preservation
  • Home and personal security
For good measure, I also rant about:
  • Camp Pain 2016 (aka America's extinction-level event) and the "great" debate of September 26,
  • David Stockman's Contracorner web site disappearing behind a pay wall (be sure to play my word association game), and
  • the demise of Obamacare, right on schedule.

Good show!  Give it a listen!

Pictured:  Lexi the wonder dog, wood stove, and the Ozark Log Roller (TM).

  1. Shrugger, another deterrent against break in is rose bushes under windows that would be a point of entry. Here in suburban he!!, I have no front fence and two side bedroom windows that could be a tempting entry point where I will be planting roses.

My brother-in-law (a Sheriff's Deputy) suggested this. Since all the houses in the neighborhood are the same, it makes the house next door look like an easier target than mine.

Great show. Wife says - Cute dog.

  2. BMF--another great under-window shrub would be a Chinese Holly. Incredibly spiny, guaranteed impenetrable. Very Hardy in warmer climes. If they grow well where you live I'd recommend highly.

Lexi sends her regards... Cheers, Shrugger
